Season's Greetings!

Amidst the hubbub of the holidays I hope you're enjoying the sights and sounds of this special time of year.

Several months ago I mentioned my plans to include a contest in my newsletter; well, I finally got my act together with the help of SCBWI!

It's been a busy time for me the last few months; below are a few of the highlights of my storyteller's journey:

In late September we traveled to Pt. Townsend, WA to visit some special relatives. We had a wonderful time in the quaint city that sits on the shore of Puget Sound.

The Fort Vancouver Regional Library has been a great supporter of mine. Below are two of its fall events I participated in:

In November we traveled to Astoria, Oregon for another book signing—we love that historic coastal town!

The first weekend of December we participated in ScanFair in Portland, Oregon. It's become an annual event for us and, since we're both a bit Scandinavian, the festival has reconnected each of us to our Nordic roots. We had an awesome time this year!
