Hello, friends, family, and fans of fiction—hope you're all doing well after the winter holidays. Below are a few highlights from the most recent steps along my storyteller's path since my last newsletter. We kicked off the New Year in Hood River, Oregon. Heading up the Columbia River Gorge was the only way we could see some snow!
While Michael ventured out in the cold temperatures to paint, I kept busy in our Hood River Hotel room.
A few days after we returned home, our two sons, Kevin and Brian, flew out from NYC for a visit—great fun!
In early February Michael began painting the illustrations for our current collaboration: The Whim of Winter.
Later in February we took a short trip up the Columbia River Gorge—it was a beautiful day. GREAT NEWS! In anticipation of the spring and summer months I'm featuring a book giveaway of The Tale of Willaby Creek. It's a fantasy story—featuring anthropomorphic animals—set in the Olympic National Forest of Washington State.
