Hello, booklovers!
The last few months have kept me busy with family, friends, and of course, writing! Here are a few highlights since my last newsletter:
This year I made a real effort to keep up on my garden during the spring months, while not losing traction with my writing.

On April 30th I participated in the Independent Bookstore Day at Vintage Books here in our hometown:

In May we traveled to Whidbey Island in Washington State. Langley, WA is known for being a community of creative types. We had a blast!

Michael has been painting illustrations for our picture book while I attempt to complete a major rewrite of my middle grade novel—we've been extremely busy!

We just returned from a vacation in Southern California to see our son and daughter-in-law. While we were there we enjoyed seeing some of the stunning beauty of that state.
