Season's Greetings!

Hello! I hope you've had a wonderful holiday season so far. In the midst of the sights and sounds of December I've been busy promoting The Scandinavian Santa. Here's what else has kept me busy since my last quarterly newsletter:

Cover to Cover Books & Espresso in Vancouver, WA hosted a wonderful book launch party for The Scandinavian Santa at the end of September—what fun! Many thanks to the shop owner, Mel Sanders, for her friendship and generosity.



We were off and running with book signings and visits! Many thanks to: Cover to Cover Books; Liberty Bay Books; Art on the Boulevard; Kazoodles Toys; Finn Ware; Fort Vancouver Regional Library; Umpqua Bank; Scandia Imports; and the Portland ScanFair for providing opportunities to sell, sign, and READ our book!



Last month, my husband and I were lucky enough to attend the Author and Illustrator Dinner sponsored by Fort Vancouver Regional Library. It was a thrill to meet the keynote speaker, Diana Gabaldon. I even had a chance to chat with the author of the wildly popular Outlander series for a few moments; she is a lovely lady.



As you may have noticed, the local library in our community—Fort Vancouver Regional Library—has been so supportive of me and The Scandinavian Santa. On December 8th, they hosted an author event for us at their Stevenson, WA branch. Many thanks to librarians Tina Smith and Amy Lee!



Last week we hosted our annual holiday open house. Every year we invite writers, artists, musicians, and other creative types to ring in the holiday season in our home. In the midst of marketing my book, I'm also making a point to spend time with my family and friends during this special time of year.
