Hope you all had a wonderful winter season with family and friends. Here's what has kept me busy the last few months:
The first week of January we had measurable snow here in our hometown. It's always exciting to get out in it since it doesn't snow here very often.

The last Saturday of January I visited the Willamette Writers House in West Linn, Oregon—I was able to rewrite a full chapter that day!

Rewriting my middle grade novel,
Livvi Biddle, has been keeping me extremely busy. I've also been working closely with my artist husband Michael, on the illustrations for our next picture book/storybook
Journey to Snowdonia due out in 2017. Here's one of the illustrations:
